The current state

The software stack usually works. The handoff is where it breaks down.

Specialty contractors already use software for project management, accounting, time tracking, drawings, schedules and job costing.

Then tomorrow's assignment changes.

A PM calls the foreman. Someone updates the spreadsheet. A group text goes out. Another worker asks for the address. A crew member working in another language gets the update secondhand. Someone replies in a different thread. By morning, the office has to reconstruct who received what.

Procore can already handle significant parts of project management, workforce planning and field communication. Operative Spaces is not designed to recreate those tools.

It is designed for contractors whose worker-level execution still requires additional calls, texts, translation or manual follow-up after the project or labor plan is created.

Operative Spaces is designed so approved project information can inform the worker-facing assignment while the office controls what becomes authoritative for workers.

If upstream information changes after an assignment has already been issued, the worker assignment should not silently change. The office reviews the change and decides whether workers need a new revision.

Your project system remains the project system.
